JOB QUALIFICATIONS
|
Education: High School education or equivalent preferred.
Certification or Licensure: Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Skills: Knowledge of electronics testing equipment and tools and know how to use them. Must know how to troubleshoot electronic controls and repair.
Work Experience: Two years technical training and two years on the job training for a total of four years training.

PRIMARY DUTY
|
Maintain all electronics devices, some new construction and installation of new equipment: Intercom, Alarm System, Camera System, Low Voltage systems.
|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
|
1. Responds to maintenance requests and reports status to the electrical foreman.
2. Trouble shoots and reports any problem observed while on the job.
3. Maintains equipment. (*)
4. Install new equipment, as needed. (*)
5. The employee shall carry out such other and further duties, whether specifically listed above or not, as are assigned or required by such employee’s supervisor, other appropriate school personnel, law board policy administrative regulation, department handbook, as are reasonably necessary to the efficient operation of the school system and its mission.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
|
Good physical condition (climb ladders, heavy lifting, and able to crawl small places
Requires traveling to various sites on a frequent and unscheduled basis.
